WORLD CLASS FIGHT LEAGUE 3: BREAKING POINT!
This Saturday at the Hilton, in Downtown Tampa, the Tampa Bay area will be treated to a phenomenal day of future and present MMA action! The World Class Fight League presents Breaking Point, their 3 event. This will be the 1st event as the official amateur promotion affiliate of the XFC! This event also has the honor to be the 1st event in the Central Florida area to utilize the newly passed ground and pound ruling for fighters entering their 4th amateur fight. That doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what the WCFL has in store for the fans! That is the 2nd half of what the WCFL is offering for MMA fans this weekend.
The day will start promptly at 10a.m. with the inaugural Art of Grappling USA kids tournament. This tournament will be for kids of the ages of 3-17. It is going to be a full day of martial arts action for men, women, and children of all ages! Once that is finished, Ralph Garcia and Duane Spires will quickly transform the venue into the site of one of the greatest night of MMA fights Central Florida has ever seen! There are 5, yes 5, WCFL titles on the line Saturday night. The fight card is headlined by the battle for the WCFL 170lb title featuring Amar Short vs. Ladarious Jackson! Abby Velazquez will be putting his 125lb title on the line as he will defend it against Christian Reed. Michael D’Angelo will face Cam Taylor for the 155lb WCFL title in what could be one of the greatest fights in all of Florida’s amateur MMA. Dean Stupar vs. Jordan Pruitt for the 135lb title; and Martin Vergara vs. Joe Creer, for the 205lb title, round out the 5 titles that will be on the line this Saturday. Make sure to take special notice of the brand new championships belts being supplied by www.proambelts.com
WCFL 3 is going to deliver a night full of action packed MMA action. There are currently 20 fights scheduled. Local great, David Mundell, will be stepping back into the cage on Saturday as he awaits RFC 28 in July. He has already signed a pro contract with the RFC, but is looking to stay active and will thus be fighting for the WCFL once again. Andrew the Ghost Gonitski will be facing Ryan Brinson in what is sure to be a fight that will tear the roof off of the Hilton hotel! The fight card is stacked from beginning to end, so make sure to come out and #supportlocalMMA.
