Sparta Combat League returns on GFL with “Phenoms”, a stacked MMA card on October 12 from the Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado. This event promises to be full speed from bell to bell as these pros and amateurs will do battle in the cage.
In the main event, in a featherweight pro battle, Ben Deanda (1-1) from Colorado fights Matt Cano (1-0) from Arizona. Deanda is coming off a close decision loss and looks to rebound in this bout. Deanda is a well versed grappler with some solid striking. He is also a submission specialist and might pull a few tricks out of his bag if the fight goes to the ground. Cano brings KO power in both hands into the cage. He has one-punch knockout power and can end a fight in the blink of an eye. Cano is also a grappling wizard and won his last bout via submission. Look for these two 145 lb warriors to go nonstop in the cage until someone is knocked out, choked out or taps out.
Sparta Combat League is sure to bring down the house once again as they have quickly grabbed a chokehold on Mountain West MMA and this show will continue in that tradition. Order “Phenoms”, and watch live and anytime afterwards on video on demand only on GFL.

Siam Fight Productions returns to GFL with “Redemption – Rival of the Rematches” on October 12. The card features numerous top-level junior fighters coming to you live from the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona.
In the main event, Destry Dalrymple battles Hashmat Naziri. Dalrymple was victorious in his last bout to win the USMTA 125 lb title via decision. Dalrymple is known for using his long frame to keep his opponents at bay and rack up point after point with his pin point, accurate striking. Naziri will need to find a way inside of Dalrymple’s striking advantage and score with punches and kicks up close and personal. These are two of the most talented blue chip fighters in the 125 lb division and this bout promises to be a barnburner from beginning to finish.

Conflict MMA Promotions returns to GFL on October 12 with “Halloween Havoc II”, a mega card with titles on the line, emanating from the Civic Center in Savannah, Georgia. “Halloween Havoc II”, promises to tear the house down as all the top fighters from the Dirty South will be squaring off in the cage in front of a rabid audience.
In the main event, for the Conflict MMA Heavyweight Title, Nick Smiley (6-2) battles Walter Harris (6-1). Smiley is the reigning and defending Champion after he won the title in May after a TKO victory in less than a minute. Smiley has a well-rounded game including some solid submissions for a heavyweight. His ground and pound is where he is most dangerous as he drops hammers with both fists. Harris looks like he’s chiseled out of granite and brings with him vicious KO power as all 6 of his victims have gone to sleep. His lone loss was by decision and many observers questioned the decision. Harris is a beast at heavyweight because he is as athletic as a middleweight but built like a tank. Look for Harris to try and land one of his one hitter quitter punches in the first round. If Smiley can use his wrestling to offset the power of Harris and get Harris on the mat, Smiley might be able to negate the punching advantage of Harris as he dishes out his own punishment. Don’t blink as these two behemoths will blow the roof off.
In other action for the Conflict MMA 144 lb Title, Champion Josh Blyden (6-0) battles Johnnie Cooper (2-3). Blyden won the title in June after a tough fought decision victory. Blyden’s other wins have all come via submission. Blyden is a slick grappler who has an assortment of attacks on the ground to expose and isolate and arm or neck. If the fight hits the mat expect Blyden to look to tapout Cooper. Cooper enters the championship fight on a 2-fight winning streak both by first round submission. Cooper has shown a flaw in striking in the past, but he has worked tirelessly on this standup and comes into the title fight a well-rounded athlete. These two featherweights are going to be nonstop action from bell to bell.
Conflict MMA Promotions is back with another epic card in front of a worldwide audience courtesy of the GFL Combat Sports Network. Watch “Halloween Havoc II”, on October 12. Hard hitting MMA action returns as Dead Serious Fighting Championship presents “Dead Serious 8” on October 12 from the Collins Arena at Brookdale live on the GFL Combat Sports Network. Dead Serious Fighting Championship is planning to blow the roof off by giving a 17-bout card with a main event for the Dead Serious Lightweight Championship and a co-main event for the Dead Serious Flyweight Title.
In the main event, Frankie Roberts (3-2) fights Jack Cordero (4-3) for the Lightweight Title. Roberts is the defending champion and won the belt in June and this will be his first title defense. Roberts is a ground specialist and has solid submissions, especially from the bottom. Roberts is also a good wrestler so he has a strong top game with strikes from the mat as well as solid cardio to go full speed for a whole fight. Cordero is a well-rounded fighter with solid wrestling and grappling and high volume striking and looks to dethrone the champion by pushing the pace. These two athletes will go full throttle in their matchup as gold is on the line.
In other action, for the Dead Serious Flyweight Title, Jimmy Santiago (4-0) faces Raul Bacchus (1-3). Santiago is the champion and has never been beaten. In fact, Santiago has only gone to decision once, after submitting his 3 other opponents. Bacchus fights with a high risk-high reward style that has made him a fan favorite. Bacchus has only gone to decision once himself, so don’t blink when these two 125 lb fighters lock horns.
