V3FIGHTS: THE ‘V3LEGION’ WELCOMES COOPER AND ‘THE LAW’ BACK TO THE CAGE

On June 21, a pair of fighters will return to the V3 cage.  However, this time they will be competing as professionals.

Former champions (in V3’s amateur series), Brian “The Law” Hall and Joel Cooper, step back in the cage to WOW the ‘Legion’ like they once did as amateurs.

Hall is a former bantamweight champion and ‘Fighter of the Year’ and for the first time, will be dropping down to flyweight.  He is easily one of the more popular fighters in the area and is looking forward to fighting in his home city.

“It feels great to be back in my city of Memphis fighting for the greatest amateur organization and now the top up and coming pro show in the business” states Hall.

Standing in Hall’s way is D’Angelo Bynum from Atlanta, GA.  Hall is definitely the more experienced of the two, but also knows that Bynum is a dangerous opponent.  When asked about this fight, here is what Hall had to say:

“I’m fighting the best 125 in the southeast and it’s an honor that he would take this fight.  I’m gunning for him because I want to be considered number one and by beating the best, you become the best.  I have to eliminate the competition starting at the top to reach my goal.  The new V3 fans do not know about me because they weren’t there when V3 was coming up, but after this ‘Fight of the Night’ performance, they will never forget ‘The Law.’”

Another former champion from V3Fights’ amateur series is Joel Cooper.  Cooper was undefeated in the V3 cage and dominated his opponents.  He is now currently 4-1 and has been itching to get back in the cage.  Waiting for him will be Dustin Long, who possesses a very interesting matchup for Cooper.

Not only is the ‘V3Legion’ excited about the homecoming of these two fighters, but the promotion is also looking forward to it.  “I’m thrilled to have Joel and Brian back at V3Fights.  They both played a very important role in helping us grow.  Our goal all along was for the promotion to grow as our fighters grew, and this is a prime example of it,” states president Nick Harmeier.

So fight fans…. If you were around to see these fighters back when they were amateurs, then you know you don’t want to miss this one.  If you are a new fan, then trust me, it’s an honor watching Hall and Cooper lay it all on the line in the cage, so get your tickets now.
