UFC Fight for the Troops will be a 3 hour live event to benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The fight will be aired free on Spike, and viewers will be able to call in their donations to help the National Intrepid Center for Excellence.

All but 30 event tickets will be given free of charge to active military on duty at Fort Bragg. Bid now on one of those 30 tickets reserved for the public.

The National Intrepid Center for Excellence provides services to military men and women who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Fans can also donate now.

Coming up on December 13th, check out the finale of this season’s Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV.

UFC 92 – The Ultimate 2008 – in Las Vegas is the UFC’s big show with big-name hitters like Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Antonio Nogueira, Frank Mir, Wanderlei Silva and Rampage Jackson. This is going to be a night to remember. Be sure to catch it on PPV (or wherever it is you catch your fights) if you can’t make it to the MGM Grand in Vegas on December 27th. We’ve already got the fights called. Click here to bet against us.

The UFC makes its way to Ireland with the 93rd Ultimate Fighting Championship on the night of January 17th. Watch Dan Henderson go up against Rich Franklin and Shogun in a rematch with Mark Coleman. Last time Coleman broke Rua’s arm so this one will be personal.

Later that month, back in Vegas, the fight we’re most excited about around here: St Pierre VS BJ Penn. Remember way back in UFC 58 when Georges St. Pierre beat BJ Penn in what was a hotly contested decision? Well now the debaters can sit back and let the fighters settle the argument once and for all.

St. Pierre in the Hospital After the Last Fight:

I guess you can afford to spend a few hours in the hospital after getting stuck in the eye if you have free healthcare like the Canadians. Maybe I’ll write something in my column, Rants from the Psych Ward, about how seriously FKD UP our healthcare system is here in the US. Or maybe I’ll just stick to talking smack and betting on fights.
