Featherweight Title Match

Featherweight Title
ROAD FC Featherweight Champion Choi Mu-Gyeom won the 2013 Featherweight Tournament by defeating Kwon Bae-Yong by a Split Decision.  Choi’s performance that night was a remarkable display of his developed striking and grappling talents over highly respected Kwon.  Choi will now defend his Featherweight Title against number one contender Seo Doo-Won.

Seo Doo-Won defeated former DREAM Lightweight Champion Joachim Hansen with a record-breaking 15 second knock out at ROAD FC 015.  With this win, Seo avenged his only loss in ROAD FC, and his only loss in 6 years.  Champion wrestler Seo will bring his incredible striking skills to test Champion Choi in a thrilling match up not to be missed!

Flyweight Title Match

Flyweight Champion Jo Nam-Jin finally made his return to fighting in Korea at ROAD FC 014 when he made the drop to Flyweight and defeated Shooto Champion Mikihito Yamagami.  Jo faced Song Min-Jong for the Inaugural Flyweight Title match at ROAD FC 016.  Song was making his Flyweight debut after being the Bantamweight Tournament Finalist.  It was an action-packed match, and Jo secured the Split Decision to win the belt.

Song Min-Jong delivered a close and excellent performance in the Inaugural Flyweight Championship match.  He recently rebounded when he defeated UFC veteran Issei Tamura.  Therefore, he will receive the right to be Jo’s first Title Challenger.  The first match up between these spectacular Flyweights was fireworks, and no doubt the rematch with the title on the line will bring out their best!
