Johannesburg, (South Africa) – At EFC AFRICA 25, on November 7, the Mother City gets shaken when Don ‘Magic Man’ Madge defends his lightweight title against Leon ‘Iron Lion’ Mynhardt in a bout dubbed the greatest rematch of all. Also, Cape Town’s Gideon ‘Juggernaut’ Drotschie defends his lightweight title against UK based Fraser ‘The Omen’ Opie.

Madge and Mynhardt first fought in April 2012, in Cape Town, where they delivered one of the greatest wars seen in the Hexagon.

Madge, a global Muay Thai superstar and lifelong Cape Town resident, and Mynhardt, a striker at the top of Africa`s summit, redefined what was thought possible in standup encounters.

On 7 November these two warriors meet in a rematch where the stakes could not be higher. This time Madge is the EFC AFRICA lightweight champion, and Mynhardt, who won the first battle, will put everything on the line to take his belt.

Gideon `Juggernaut` Drotschie defends his light heavyweight belt for the first time against the feared Fraser `Omen` Opie. Both men have stated they want an all-out war to determine who rules the light heavyweight ranks.

Former welterweight champion and ultimate finisher Michiel Opperman re-enters the Hexagon to face the DRC’s toughest athlete; Francois ‘Frenchman’ Kabulu.

Plus the Angolan wrecking machine Bernardo Mikixi goes head to head with Brendon Groenewald at heavyweight, kickboxing maestro Sors ‘Guru’ Grobbelaar faces the might of the DRC’s Vandam Mbuyi, and 10 more explosive bouts featuring the cream of Cape Town’s MMA talent.

“I love my Cape Town fans, I love my city!” said Don Madge in a recent interview. “This is my home! I fight for everyone who supports me here and it means everything to me to know that I have the support of my fellow Capetonians. I have the best fans in the world, period! On 7 November they’re coming to see their champion perform!”
