ROAD Fighting Championship Official Weigh In Results for the Inaugural ROAD FC – KOREA 001 in Seoul, South Korea

January 17, 2014 – ROAD Fighting Championship presents ROAD FC – KOREA 001, the first of a series of monthly league events to feature foreign fighters making their debut in ROAD FC. The weigh ins for the event took place at the Grand Hilton Convention Centre today.  Following the results of the recording, all eleven fights are scheduled to take place as planned.

Main Event fighters Riki Fukuda and Kim Hee-Seung both successfully made weight, with Fukuda right on point at 84kg and Kim within the 500 grams allowance at 84.45kg. The remaining fighters of the main card all made weight on the first try except Kwon A-Sol who who came in 2 kilograms over the contracted weight at 72kg.  Kwon was allowed an additional two hours to lose the overage but was unable.  His final weight was 71.90kg so a penalty is imposed upon him: 2 points will be deducted per each round and he forfeits 50% of his fight money to his opponent Mostafa Abdollahi.
All of the fighters on the Young Guns 10 undercard successfully made weight with only one fighter needing an additional allowance of time.
