Hard hitting MMA action returns as Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting presents “WXC 46 – Shocktober” on October 18 in Clinton Township, Michigan as WXC debuts on GFL.tv. WXC events are the premier MMA shows in Michigan as they are the proving grounds fortomorrow’s future stars and champions. This stacked card is sure to highlight the rising blue chip prospects in and around Michigan and the Great Lakes.

In the main event, in a WXC Lightweight Qualifier, Josh Visel (2-0) fights Mo Shatri (1-0). Visel is a solid striker with strong wrestling. He is usually first to the punch and is always pushing the pace to try and wear his opponent out. Look for Visel to come out with measured striking and mix up takedown attempts where he can use his ground and pound. Shatri is an expert grappler and dangerous on top or on the bottom. If Visel is able to score a takedown, Shatri will be perfectly content to work from his back for armbars or chokes. Look for this fight to be action packed from start to finish as the winner will advance in the stacked tourney.

Midwest MMA is ready to deliver again! Be sure to catch all of the action, LIVE October 18 as Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting presents “WXC 46 – Shocktober” exclusively at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Art of Combat 5
Sat Oct 19 4:30PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Art of Combat debuts on GFL.tv on October 19 with “Art of Combat 5” at the First Arena in Elmira, New York. The mega card will feature many of the top regional gladiators in the area as Art of Combat is famous for being a battle zone of up and coming prospects.

In the main event, Dillon Yarka (2-1) battles Quentin Gaskins (3-2-1) for the Art of Combat Featherweight Championship. Yarka is coming off of 2 submission wins and has also improved his striking game so that he is a threat no matter where the fight goes. Gaskins brings twice the cage experience into the fight along with fighting for a variety of big name organizations. Gaskins will not wilt under the hot lights of the main event. Look for Gaskins to test Yarka immediately by pressuring him with punches and trying to close the distance and make the fight a brawl.

In the co-main event, Matt Kurey (1-2) fights Monty Swilling (0-1) in a welterweight duel. A victory by Kurey will bring his record to .500. Kurey is a gamer and both of his losses have come via close decisions. Look for Kurey to try and grind down Swilling and beat him to the punch. Swilling is also looking to bring his record to .500 with his first win. Swilling showed a ton of heart and resolve in his first fight and will be looking to improve on his last bout with a win this time out.

Art of Combat always presents high octane fights as the fighters are continually looking for the finish inside the cage. Be sure to catch all of the action from this exciting event as Art of Combat presents “Art of Combat 5” on October 19 exclusively at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

XFE 27
Sat Oct 19 7:30PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Xtreme Fight Events returns to Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester, Pennsylvania on October 19 with “XFE 27”. XFE has quickly solidified itself in Pennsylvania as the top-tier MMA event where the top pro and amateur rising stars step into the battleground looking to destroy their opponents.

In the pro ranks, Jon Delbrugge (2-1) fights Bellator veteran Neil Johnson (7-5) in a welterweight clash. Delbrugge is a strong wrestler and has an ability to get a takedown almost every time he attempts one. His kickboxing is also improving which makes him even more dangerous to get the fight to the mat because his opponents find themselves on their heels trying to defend his strikes. Johnson brings an experience advantage into the bout and has been battle tested in the cage on multiple occasions. Johnson will need to be quick with his submissions if the fight hits the mat. He has the ability to submit anyone in XFE and this fight is sure to be a barnburner from start to finish.

In other action, Christopher Daukaus (4-0) fights Bobby Duvall (6-0) in a heavyweight tilt of undefeated fighters. Daukaus is a fast starter and has never been out of the first round. Daukaus is a heavy handed fighter and has solid wrestling and grappling. His ground and pound is hard to stop once he gets on top. Look for Daukaus to stand and bang before possibly setting up a takedown and trying to finish the fight on the ground with strikes. Duvall is almost a mirror image of Daukaus as he brings a solid grappling game into the cage and has only gone to decision once in his career. Duvall would be comfortable on the ground and because he is such an accomplished submission artist, if he ends up on his back, he will look for an armbar or possibly a triangle. This game will be a chess match from the opening bell and one of these men is leaving the cage with the first loss of their career.

Xtreme Fight Events returns with epic fighting in front of a worldwide audience courtesy of the GFL Combat Sports Network. Watch “XFE 27” on October 19. Stream the show online at GFL.tv and own if forever. For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Xtreme Combat – Battle in Plattsburgh 3
Sat Oct 19 6:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Xtreme Combat returns to GFL on October 13 as it presents “Battle in Plattsburgh 3” emanating from the Crete Civic Center in Plattsburgh, New York. MMA fans, this event is a stacked card featuring the top up and combing prospects inside the upper North East area. Xtreme Combat is the premier MMA organization in the New England and now they have expanded their reach and are ready to put their stamp of high quality MMA on in the Empire State as one of GFL’s rising organizations.

In the main event, Rob Cameron (1-2) fights Darrin Hunsdon (2-0) in a light heavyweight contest. Cameron makes his third appearance into the XCP cage where he once challenged for the title and brings a strong grappling game into the cage. Cameron is dangerous from the ground as evidenced by his first round submission victory. This bout has all the makings of fight of the night as these two gladiators go to battle. Hunsdon is a heavy hitter stopping both of his previous opponents by KO. He brings KO power in both hands and can end the fight with one shot. Look for explosives in this bout.

In other action, Bruce Richards (9-19) battles Malcolm Amin. Richards is a veteran and brings a large experience advantage into the fight. Richards is dangerous because of his high risk-high reward style as you never know what he is going to do. Amin makes his debut and will have to make Richards respect him from the opening bell. Look for this fight to be a shootout and not go the distance.

You won’t find more BANG for your buck so order this thrilling event. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on October 13 as Xtreme Combat presents “Battle in Plattsburgh 3” on pay-per-view exclusively at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

IZW Adrenaline: Oct 19, 2013
Sat Oct 19 8:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

“IZW Adrenaline” returns this Saturday, October 19, with another FREE show on GFL.tv. With only two more shows before “Halloween Hangover” on November 2, the hotly anticipated autumn extravaganza is taking shape as everyone looks to make a statement in the season’s epic iPPV.

Last week, IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) suffered his second loss in a row in consecutive weeks as he and “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) were defeated by “Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor) and IZW Impact Division Champion Drake Gallows (@DrakeBmbulmer) in a tag team match. Morgan dropped the pinfall, yet Z still found himself on the short end of the stick once again. What will the “Savior of Wrestling” have in store this week as the biggest match of his career is two weeks away when he faces Windsor in a Casket Match! Z needs to find a way to change the momentum heading into his match on November 2 and there’s only one way to find out what he has planned for Windsor, Gallows and the rest of the IZW faithful. Tune in this Saturday night on GFL.tv to find out.

In other news, “The Old School Sucka” Randy Price (@RandyPrice_OSS) announced his retirement from wrestling due to numerous neck injuries caused by “Bad” Brad Michaels (@OldSchool_Brad). It was an emotional moment for the IZW veteran in front of the Impact Arena as now it seems like Price has closed a chapter in his life for good. Will Michaels be in the house this Saturday to gloat even more about his handiwork?

The Convict and “The Captain of the Force” Double D (@IZWDoubleD) engaged in another epic battle with The Convict coming out on top on last week’s episode. The Convict is the final entrant into the Monsters Bash while Double D will be the first entrant once again. If these two meet at “Halloween Hangover” it will be because they are likely the final two remaining competitors in the grueling battle royal with an automatic IZW Championship Match on the line. Are these two destined to square off once again? What’s in store for these two gladiators this week?

The Tag Team Titles rest in the hands of Team Bull: The Bronze Bull (@BronzeBull_AN) & “The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr (@thegods_bs) but What Wrestling Should Be: “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME) & “Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) have made it their sole mission in life to dethrone the reigning Champs. Team Bull has had WWSB’s number for some time now in both tag and singles competition. But WWSB is a part of Impact Elite and if there’s one thing IE has proven in the past; it might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but sooner or later, they are going to get their revenge.

With everything in IZW leading to “Halloween Hangover” and the Monsters Bash Battle Royal who will run away from the pack. Who will get a head start for November 2? Make sure to join these superstars along with a host of other top notch grapplers including Madame Commissioner Erica “Worst in the World” Copycat, Angel Camacho, Miss Diss Lexia, Striker and more as IZW comes barreling down the road ready to destroy all the competition.

Get your shot of adrenaline with “IZW Adrenaline” every Saturday night at 8pm E/7pm C on GFL.tv. No other wrestling organization on the Independent landscape carves out as much new content as IZW. Developed and cultivated in the Sooner State, IZW is second to none. Be there for every bump, bruise and jaw-dropping moment all of which have made IZW recognized around the world.
