Kimbo Slice: Man of Many Talents?

After making backyard fights famous on YouTube Kimbo tried the professional fight game. Sometime soon we hope to see him back in the ring, cage, yard, wherever he’s going to knock someone out. Unless of course, it’s the superstar himself – Seth Petruzelli, that guy’s just way too tough for Kimbo Slice right now. So after the fight scene (not that his career is over or anything), Kimbo went ‘Hollywood’.  Well, Nickelodeon – it’s the same thing right? Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson played the role of Bludge in Nickelodeon’s “Drake and Josh: Best Christmas Ever”.  Bludge is a menacing con who befriends Drake and Josh.  If you’d like to see Kimbo’s acting skills you can watch the movie here.

Kimbo has now gone into broadcasting, showing up in Japan as a guest commentator at a K-1 event this past weekend.  Check it out, this is a GREAT start in his broadcasting career. Kimbo Slice, the Jack of all trades but good at none!

I know, everyone is absolutely sick of seeing and hearing of Kimbo Slice. I’m just having a little fun with this one. “The city of Japan”, not a big deal but it’s pretty funny. It’s really easy to make fun of Kimbo Slice but I’m not sure why he is so hated. If I were him I’d be doing the same thing. I’d be cashing in on as much of this money as possible. He’s a street fighter who has made a ton of money in a mixed martial arts career with no real mixed martial arts skill. If you ask me he’s a genius, hustler, or lucky. However you want to put it he’s made a lot of money because when he squares up with someone WE watch because like it or not, he is one intriguing person.
