A-TOWN THROWDOWN III – JUNE 27 – 06:00 PM ET
Travis Wiuff (72-18 1NC) Elite Performance
Danyelle Williams (6-3-1) Warrior Spirit MMA
Wiuff is a legend in my book having recorded 24 KO/TKO’s, 23 submissions and 25 decisions in his career and still going strong. Wiuff has fought in the UFC 2X, Pride and Bellator 6X. Wiuff defeated Brian Heden via 1st Rd KO at Driller Promotions: No Mercy 11 back in May for the Heavyweight Championship and 1st Title since 2009. This will be Wiuff’s 1st Title defense since winning that Title. Wiuff is currently on a 4 fight win streak with 2 of those wins via KO/TKO in the 1st Rd.
Williams on the other hand has a 3 fight win streak with 2 of those wins coming by way of KO/TKO in the 1st Rd. Out of the 6 victories recorded by Williams 4 have come by KO/TKO and never going past the 2nd round. As a amateur Williams went 6-2 in his last 8 fights with all 6 victories via KO/TKO, very impressive and very heavy handed.
I don’t see this fight going to the judges!

All of Jorgensen’s pro fights have been in the Showdown Fights Promotion. Jorgensen does have a fight scheduled July 25 vs Josh Copeland at RFA 16 for the Vacant RFA Heavyweight Title.
Fuimaono being the more experienced fighter could have the slight edge in this battle for the vacant Heavyweight Title, with 13 of his 17 victories coming by way of KO/TKO. That’s 76% of his wins by KO/TKO, very impressive.
