Capitol City Combat debuts on September 14 with “Capitol City Combat XI”, a stacked pro/am card emanating from the Sportszone in Topeka, Kansas. CCC has quickly solidified itself in the Midwest as a top-tier MMA event where rising stars go to make a name for themselves by battling other blue chip prospects. Watch the stars of tomorrow compete today.

In the main event, in the pro ranks, Fredrick Brown (3-0) battles Joel Rader (0-1). Brown has destroyed his previous 3 opponents all inside of one round, 2 with TKOs and 1 via submission. Brown is an athletic heavyweight that attacks from the opening bell and is looking to land strikes or go for the takedown if it is open. Expect Brown to take the center of the cage at the opening bell and put the heat on Rader early on. Rader is looking for his first win as a pro and will be stepping into the cage with a size advantage. Rader needs to use his strength to either hurt Brown in the standup or get him to the ground where Rader can score with ground and pound. Both fighters are looking for a spectacular win, so don’t blink when these two gladiators lock horns.

In the co-main event, also in the pro ranks, Justin Zabokrtsky (2-4) takes on Chris Page (3-10). Zabokrtsky is coming off a first round submission win in under a minute and has steadily improved his standup and wrestling game in the last several months. Look for Zabokrtsky to keep the fight standing with some kickboxing and if things hit the mat he will be looking for the submission immediately. Page is on a 3-fight skid currently but is looking to change that fact in this fight. Page brings a huge experience advantage into the cage having more than double the amount of fights as Zabokrtsky. Page is most dangerous on the ground and similar to Zabokrtsky, will be looking for a submission as soon as the fight hits the canvas. This could be a chess match both on the feet and on the mat as both of these warriors are very evenly matched.

Conflict MMA Promotions returns to GFL on September 14 with “Carolina Cage Fights 13”, a mega card, emanating from the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. “Carolina Cage Fights 13” promises to tear the house down as all the top fighters from the Dirty South will be squaring off in the cage in front of a rabid audience.

In the main event, for the Conflict MMA Lightweight Title, Jeremy Severn (3-0) from South Carolina battles Bellator veteran Joe “Hitman” Elmore (9-5) of Atlanta, Georgia. Severn has proven to be perfect in his professional career with all 3 wins coming via stoppage. Severn is a well-rounded fighter who is known for his submission game, but has also improved his standup and can hurt opponents with his fists or feet. Elmore will be Severn’s toughest fight ever as Elmore holds a huge experience advantage and already holds a victory with the worldwide promotion Bellator. Elmore is on a 3-fight win streak and looking to continue that momentum as well as picking up his first title. Both Severn and Elmore are looking to make a statement and claim their spot as the top 155 lb fighter in the Southeast. The winner of this fight will be able to add their name to the top of the division.

In the co-main event, Stryker Huffman (1-1) battles Justin Fisher (2-0) in a middleweight scrap. Huffman has never been out of the first round and is coming off a TKO win in June. Huffman swings for the fences and likes to look for the KO with every punch. He always comes forward and will stand and bang with anyone in his weight division. Fisher is undefeated and has shown an ability to outwork his opponent over three rounds as well as finish another with his hands inside of one round. Fisher likes to mix up his attacks and has a well-rounded game that keeps his opponents guessing. Don’t blink as this fight could be over in a flash or be a grueling three round war.

Conflict MMA Promotions is back with another epic card in front of a worldwide audience courtesy of the GFL Combat Sports Network. Watch “Carolina Cage Fights 13” on September 14. “Redemption” is here! This iPPV will not be for the faint of heart as egos will be unchecked and adrenaline will be overflowing.

In the main event, IZW Champion, “The Natural Born Leader” Johnny Z puts his prestigious title on the line once again against the formidable “Big Business” Damon Windsor. Z and Windsor have been embroiled in multiple dustups over the past several months with Windsor usually ending up lying in a pool of his own blood. Windsor is a powerhouse on the mat and has also recently shown an ability to glide through the air with an assortment of aerial maneuvers making him the biggest threat in history to Z’s title reign. Z is nothing if not resilient. In a profession that is all about the bottom line, about results, he has proven to have no peer.

The Impact Division Title will be up for grabs in a Six Pack Challenge Match with Champion Drake Gallows defending against Copycat, Montego Seeka, Angel Camacho, Kevin Morgan and newcomer Adam Young. Morgan has to be the odds on favorite to walk away with the strap. He’s been on a rampage lately. Standing in his way is Gallows. He’s dangerous everywhere he takes the fight and he’s got an iron will that lets him do amazing things in the ring. The wildcard in the match is Copycat who has been one step away from claiming the title. Copycat believes he’s been jipped out of getting his due respect and recognition and a victory here will get him the accolades he desperately seeks. Seeka, Camacho and Young are all in the same boat. Seeka, Camacho and Young are looking to climb up the ranks of singles competition. Seeka brings an arsenal of kicks that makes him a dangerous. Camacho is an athletically gifted big man that utilizes a variety of suplexes. And Young is still a bit of an unknown.

The Tag Titles are on the line as What Wrestling Should Be (Jermaine Johnson & Jordan Jacobs) defend against Team Bull (The Bronze Bull & The Brass Bull). These two teams have feuded in some form or fashion for several years dating back to Johnson and Bull grappling over the IZW Title, while Jacobs defeated Starr earlier this year to win the Impact Player of 2013. If there is a team that can dethrone the champs it truly has to be blessed from “the gods”.

Double D and Brandon Bishop lock horns in a battle of alpha males. Bishop has come back to IZW with a vengeance. He dropped 70 lb and has never wrestled better. He’s had the best matches of his IZW career in recent months and the sky is truly the limit for Bishop. Yet D hasn’t bought into the hype. Double D has remained cautious and had his hackles up since Bishop’s return. Sometimes even superheroes don’t see eye to eye and there’s nothing else to do but fight.

History will be made as the Queen’s Crown will up for grabs as Madame Commissioner Erica defends her tiara against Angel Blue in the first ever Women’s Dog Collar Match in Oklahoma professional wrestling history. Erica has ruled the women’s division for several years now and she will have to defeat her toughest challenge in some time as Blue has given the Champ more than she can handle on several occasions. Erica has always found a way to keep the odds in her favor and through sheer athleticism or a slight bending of the rules. But the great equalizer of this match could come in the form of the special guest referee, Miss Diss Lexia.

Words cannot begin to describe the upcoming match between Randy Price and Brad Michaels. But here goes. Unsanctioned Old School Street Fight. These gladiators will step into the coliseum that is the Impact Arena looking to crush one another once and for all. In fact, Co-Commissioner Shawn McHale wouldn’t even sanction any type of wrestling contest between these two for liability purposes. When these two lock up expect fireworks as this street fight will be like nothing you have ever witnessed in your life and if you’re the least bit squeamish, this bout might not be for you. Someone is going out on a stretcher…permanently. For full fight card and more details about this event, visit  or click
