Fight Network Partners with Quebec’s SLAMM: Tristar Fights
Toronto – Canada’s Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, has partnered with the upstartSLAMM: Tristar Fights organization based in Quebec.
Fight Network will broadcast SLAMM1 via five-day tape delay following the inaugural Nov. 30 event from the Complexe Sportscene in St-Hilaire, Quebec.
“Fight Network has closely followed the evolution of Tristar Gym in Montreal, the top academy in Canada and one of the most respected gyms in the world,” said Chad Midgley, VP of Programming & Production at Fight Network. “With the world-famous gym now venturing into the world of fight promotion, it’s a perfect opportunity to partner up and showcase the next wave of Canadian talent to Fight Network viewers.”

SLAMM1 will be headlined by welterweight prospects Alex Garcia (7-1) and Stephane Lamarche (8-12).
In other marquee bouts, Fight Network’s mixed martial arts analyst Robin Black (3-5) returns to the cage for a bantamweight showdown with Derek Charbonneau (0-0), while highly touted bantamweight Aiemann Zahabi (0-0), the brother of Tristar Gym head coach Firas Zahabi, makes his long awaited mixed martial arts debut against Kyle Vivian (0-5).
