EliteXC “Return of the King” is set to kick off on Saturday, June 14, at the Neil S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Defending his belt, is Hawaii native and king of the EliteXC lightweight division, KJ Noons, who will take on the explosive and crafty veteran in Yves Edwards. Also on the card is the fighter that Noons disposed of to obtain his gold, Nick Diaz, who looks to get back in line for a title shot but he will first have to go through Muhsin Corbbrey.
RedSweat.com will be bringing you all of the action beginning with up to the minute play by play commentary for the main card at 10pm ET. Quick results for the prelims will follow at 12:30am ET.

Important news, announcements and interesting moments during EliteXC
- EliteXC "Returns to the Cage" on July 26
- EliteXC Saturday Night Fights "Lawler vs Smith 2" announced for July 26th on CBS at 9pm ET/PT.
- 4 finishes via TKO (Strikes) in a row, lets see if we can make it 5.
- Chaos ensued in the cage following the Noons vs Edwards fight. After KJ’s post fight interview, Diaz comes to the cage to ask for a rematch. Things start to get tense after Nate Diaz starts to give Carl Noons (KJ’s dad) the finger. Nick follows suit and starts to give Noons the finger as well. KJ lunges at Nick and the whole cage erupts into chaos. KJ’s dad manages to get Nick into a muay thai plum momentarily but the fighters are quickly controlled and Nick and his brother leave the arena with both middle fingers in the air. The crowd boos, obviously not in favor of the Diaz brothers antics.
- Undercard results are up next at 12:30am ET. For some reason ProElite is airing the prelims after the main card so stay tuned for the results.
- Also stay tuned for DREAM 4 live results and play by play commentary starting tonight at 4am ET.
- In reality PJ Dean won his fight against Dean Lista but because of a point deduction it was ruled a majority draw.
- They bring out new EliteXC heavyweight Lolohea Mahe to announce that his opponent, Chris Bernard, has pulled out of the fight just 30 minutes before showtime. Apparently Bernard pulled out because he was sick.

- In his post fight interview, McDaniel’s says he doesn’t want to come back for a title shot and says the belt should stay with a Hawaiian.
