Dream.1 Fight Card Update 3 (Crocop’s New Opponent)

The new upstart organization DREAM has announced the final match ups for their March 15 Lightweight Grand Prix tournament, DREAM.1. Mirko Crocop also just announced on his blog that Tatsuya Mizuno will be stepping up to replace Yoshihiro Nakao as his new opponent for the "Superfight" at DREAM.1. DREAM is a brand new organization based in Japan which is replacing K-1 Hero’s with the assistance of former Pride staff members. Two tournaments have already been scheduled for 2008 including a middleweight tournament that kicks off on April 29. |

One of the most highly anticipated match ups taking place at the event is top ten lightweight Shinya Aoki taking on K-1 star Gesias “J. Z.” Calvancante. The final match ups added to finish off the card are Katsuhiko Nagata taking on Artur Oumakhanov, Andre Dida vs Eddie Alvarez, and the "Superfight" Hayato Sakurai vs Hidetaka Monma. DREAM.1 will take place on March 15 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Tickets are on sale now for the event. Hey Todd, Who is your pic for the GP theres alotta stiff compition but im gonna have to go with eddie alverez. Now is this tourney all in one night or is just the 1st round on this card?

I’d have to go with Aoki or Ishida. No this first event is only the first round. Did you hear about your boy Herman. He was just added to UFC 83 fighting Demain Maia. Also Crocop is going to fight Tatsuya Mizuno in the superfight at DREAM.1.

I saw both of them @ yarrenoka I thought melendez beat ishida though. but aoki wold be my second choice with his gold tights. Yeah ed herman has been on that card since the press conference fighting maia,it just was never posted, but i called sherdog like 3 weeks ago and they confirmed it, also thats what the comment that ed left on my page said,hes gonna give maia his 1st loss via some vicious g-n-p. Yeah I cant wait for cro cop to be back in action, are you gonna watch it live @ 4am on that site, I know I am

oh yeah and your boy nick diaz was just annouced,hes fighting Jae Suck Lim”The Korean Ice Pick” 9 & 3 on the march 29 stikeforce card but you probabaly already knew that

Gosh, I wish I could remember to put everything in 1 post, I messaged ed a few days ago to see if he would do an iterview through myspace with me but he hasnt answered, im assuming its a no, but there could still be hope.

yeah i posted that yesterday. then this morning i checked myspace and ed herman told me to send him the questions. so hopefully his answers will be there when i get home from work which is where im at now on my phone

Thats ok, maybe next time we can both go over the questions for the interview. That way we can both find out some stuff we want to know. But hey I am happy with whatever you got man. I am excited. Heck yeah I am going to post it here.
