As if we didn’t see it coming, the Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Alistair Overeem rematch has officially been postponed.

As much as Tanigawilia wants us to believe this fight will happen - don’t hold your breath. Cro Cop wants no part of Overeem. Before the groin shot that sent Mirko Cro Cop’s testicles into hiding Overeem was punishing and flat out embarrassing Cro Cop. This fight will not happen. Cro Cop has been accused lately of ducking fights and this one is no different. When it comes to an Overeem rematch he’ll continue to Cro Cop-Out.

“Alistair is begging for this fight but this fight will not go ahead on NY eve at Fields Dynamite,” said Tanigawa, according to Free Fight Videos. “We will look to mach them up on a different card.”
