Cody McKenzie born December 16, 1987 started his fighting career at Pride Gym in Trail, BC Canada at the age of 16. Cody has an impressive record of 11-0 with his last 10 wins coming by submission and last 9 by (Guillotine Choke) and all 10 ending in the first round. Now at the age of 22 he makes his home in Spokane, Washington. Cody is from Cordova, Alaska.

I’ve seen 5 of Cody’s fights live, GFS – Helter Smelter 4/21/2007, GFS – Ford Fight Night 4/19/2008, CR 2 – Caged Rage 2 10/4/2008, FFN – Ford Fight Night 4/18/2009 and his last fight at FFN – Ford Fight Night 4/17/2010. I recall thinking after the first time I watch him fight that Cody McKenzie is the real deal and a true warrior with the fighting spirit deeply embedded in him.
It’s been a pleasure to watch him fight over the years and when I found out that he made the cast of TUF 12 (The Ultimate Fighter 12) I was ecstatic with excitement and joy. Cody, I am your cousin Sharkey from Montana. We all love watching Ultimate Fighter. Me, my kids & my grandkids. You can imagine how excited we were when I heard from brother Bud that you are fighting in Tuf 12. Wouldn’t miss it for the world. Your grandpa is sure excited.
