Charles Byrd vs. Mike Bronzoulis New Triple A MMA IV ‘Caged Hostility’ Headliner, Chas Skelly Out Due to Injury

Albuquerque, NM. (December 31, 2013) – Triple A MMA executives announced today that a foot injury sustained during training camp has forced Team Takedown fighter Chas Skelly to withdraw from his Triple A MMA IV ‘Caged Hostility’ main event bout against Richard Villa. Welterweight sluggers Charles Byrd and Mike Bronzoulis will now headline the event.  Triple A MMA IV ‘Caged Hostility’ will take place on January 16, 2014 at the historic Cowtown Coliseum Stockyards Rodeo in Forth Worth, TX.

The ‘Caged Hostility’ fight card is stacked with many of the Southwest’s top contenders and will be the first of many Triple A MMA events held in the great state of Texas. The fast-rising promotion is looking forward to their debut in the Lone Star state and hope to feature Skelly vs. Villa on a future Triple A MMA fight card.

C.O.O., J.R. Rodriguez stated, “We were disappointed to hear of Skelly’s injury, but as we all know training injuries like this are quite common in the fight game, especially at the elite level. We wish Skelly a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in action! We hope to see him face off with Villa in the Triple A MMA arena in the very near future.”

Rodriguez went on to say,   “After learning of Skelly’s injury, our executive team quickly made the decision to move Byrd vs. Bronzoulis into the main event slot. The highly anticipated welterweight bout between Byrd and Fight Master Reality Show finalist Mike Bronzoulis has the Texas fight scene buzzing with excitement! It is a very compelling match-up and definitely worthy of its new main event status. We are looking forward to putting on stellar event!”
