A disappointing week for fight fans as the main event of Prime Fighting 9, a lightweight title bout between Prime Fighting champion Joey Gomez and Bryan Nuro has been cancelled due to ‘irreconcilable differences’ between Prime Fighting and Nuro’s coaches. The recently announced welterweight Prime Fighting championship bout between defending champion Jake Smith and undefeated contender Joey Pierotti will now take center stage as the main event for the night.  CageSport 43 Results Nuro captures CageSport Interim Lightweight Championship  CageSport 43 Results *updated 10:20pm with Cagesport official release  Nuro captures CageSport Interim Lightweight Championship FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Dec. 17, 2016 TACOMA, Wash. – Bryan Nuro captured the CageSport Interim Lightweight championship by defeating Bobby McIntyre by first-round rear naked choke in the main event of CageSport 43 Saturday at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Wash. Nuro (6-1) ended the title bout in 3 minutes, 22 seconds. McIntyre fell to 4-4 with the loss. CageSport 43 Weights CageSport 43 Weights FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Dec. 16, 2016 TACOMA, Wash. – Bryan Nuro and Bobby McIntyre both came in a pound underweight for their CageSport 43 main event at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Wash. on Saturday.   The Nuro/McIntyre fight will be for the CageSport Interim Lightweight Championship. Both fighters tipped the scale at a ready 154 pounds.   The card will also feature a semi-main event bout in the 145-pound division between Drew Brokenshire (145) and Eduardo Torres (145).   Tickets are available through the EQC box office and all Ticket Master outlets.
