Raul Bello vs Craig Yustat (155lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Touch of gloves and we are off on this event. Rual pressing early and lands a combo, and a kick. Craig counters and both fighters circle. Stiff jab from Craig, and both fighters exchange kicks, Raul throws some punches and lands some glancing blows as Craig circles out. Leg kick from Raul again, staying on the outside, and another, another and a stiff jab from Raul. Raul in the center of the cage, fires forward with some big punches and works on Craig against the cage. Some big shots land, Craig goes down and Raul continues to land shots until the referee pulls him off.

Mike Gonzales vs Chris Teran (170lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Quickly Mike pushes into the clinch behind straight punches and works Chris against the cage, working double underhooks but Chris defends. Mike relentless, but Chris staying patient, landing short shots to the body and trying to circle off the cage. Chris is holding the position and looking for the takedown. Moves to a high clinch and Mike lands a good knee, Chris tries to fire back and Mike defends and back in the clinch, Chris almost gets a takedown but mike stuffs him hard against the cage, explodes out of the clinch with big shots, then again and Chris goes down. Mike flurries and it’s all over

Brandee Brown vs Crystal Jewel (105lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Touch of gloves and Brown comes forward hard with hooks and has Jewel against the cage and gets the big takedown. Jewel attacking the arm early, and Brown slams her way free, but Jewel has her arm, and her back in an omoplata, Jewel holding on but Brown is slowly working free. Some intense battle for positioning here, Brown still trying to get her arm free, on top in side control. At last free and Jewel tries to stand in the transition and Brown goes for the choke, Jewel escapes and is now on top. Jewel in full guard, and Brown attacks with a high guard and wraps up the triangle, it’s in deep and Jewel is forced to tap.

Brandon Nunn vs Dustin Duffy (185lbs)

 

Round 1

 

leg kick from Nunn early and another, he goes high but Duffy blocks and answers with some right hands and presses Nunn to the cage but Nunn ducks under with a big double leg and has Duffy down, in full guard. Duffy working a high guard early, Nunn trying to find posture, and pass to half guard, before standing back and Duffy fires back to his feet. Nunn takes the center and misses a leg kick, circles out, big punches from Duffy, and Nunn circles out and goes to the leg again, and again. Duffy eating some kicks to the leg and tries for the right hand again. Duffy wades in with big shots and Nunn avoids and again ducks under with a big takedown, in full guard. Duffy stifling, Nunn trying to find posture, he does and unleashes a pair of punches before Duffy stands up and out. Leg kick from Nunn again and a pair of straight punches. Good jab from Duffy, Nunn answers with a body shot, Duffy wading forward again with big shots at the end of the round.

 

Very close round. DC has it 10-9 Nunn with the takedowns

 

Round 2

 

Back to the center, Nunn with a leg kick and Duffy answers with straight punches that land. Duffy trying to push the pace, Nunn shoots again and is on top in full guard, trying to find posture. Duffy trying to use the cage and Nunn lands some good short shots. Nunn pulls Duffy away from the cage, again trying to find posture, Duffy doing a great job stifling, but isn’t attacking or escaping. Nunn slams in attempt to shake off Duffy but no luck. Nunn finds posture but Duffy quickly pushes him off and back to the feet. Nunn throws wild and Duffy counters, comes forward with another big right hand, they circle and Nunn shoots, but Duffy sees it coming and stuffs hard, takes the back and is working the choke. Duffy has both hooks in as the round comes to an end.

 

Good rally by Duffy, another close round but DC has it 10-9 Duffy

 

Round 3

 

Final round of this absolute war. Touch of gloves, Nunn circles out early, Duffy coming forward, looking for the big punch and Nunn tries to shoot again. Duffy sees it coming again and sprawls hard, takes the back and lands some shots, Nunn trying to find a way out but Duffy jumps after the choke, Nunn in lots of trouble and he’s forced to tap! Great fight!

Cody Viescas vs Greg Carlson (170lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Cody on the center early, jabs from both fighters, front kick to the face from Cody and Greg shakes it off, comes forward with jabs, eats a leg kick but fires a solid right hand. Leg kick again from Cody, he goes high but it’s checked. Cody comes forward in the clinch, and presses Greg to the cage wall, some good short shots inside, but it’s Cody who gets the throw and ends up in side control, tries to take mount, and Greg attempts to stand up and out. Cody takes the back and heavily weighs Greg down to the mat before sinking in the choke, forcing Greg to tap

Jake Burns vs Alex Corrales (135lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Touch of gloves and we are off, Alex circles on the outside early, feints from both fighters. Jake fires a left straight and muscles his way in the clinch and works some short strikes but Alex reverses the position and gets the takedown, lands some shots of his own before Jake regains full guard and controls the posture. Alex now trying to get his head up, pushing Jake into the fence. Alex staying heavy in full guard, taking his time and passes to half guard, Jake defends quickly but Alex secures the position and holds half guard. Some short shots on top from Alex before Jake gets back to full guard, Alex stands and drops some shots, more punches and Jake is trying to suck him down to the mat. Alex keeps pushing and landing, Jake gets to his feet and both fighters throw some bombs in the final seconds of the round.

 

Tight round but Alex gets DC’s 10-9 nod

 

Round 2

 

Alex again circles early on the outside, Jake paws the jab, and a straight left. Jake pushes in with straight punches and forces Alex to the cage again. Both fighters work short shots inside, Jake with a knee, and Alex spins off the cage, still in the clinch, and on the break Jake lands a good straight shot. Alex with some straight shots that are blocked and now Jake comes forward, Alex goes under for the single and Jake is defending, Alex holding a leg and tries to rip Jake down but can’t do it, excellent balance from Jake as he defends and pushes in now with strikes, Alex fires off the cage with his own punches, but Jake still coming forward with straight shots, another straight left lands and Alex has his back against the fence, then explodes with a big double leg takedown, is on top in full guard now. Jake attacks with a high guard, but Alex passes to half guard, trying to find room to strike as the last seconds tick down.

 

Very tight round, could go either way, DC has it 10-9 Jake

 

Round 3

 

Final round of this flyweight bout, Jake feinting and pushing early. Alex on the outside and Jake lands some good shots before forcing into the clinch, throws a knee but Alex uses a leg to drag him down, now Alex on top, Jake trying to find a way up, Alex attacks the neck, and Jake pushes forward and now is on top, in half guard. Alex gives up the choke, Jake trying to posture and he has the mount. Alex tries to buck and Jake has the back, but Alex explodes back over and pushes Jake back into full guard. Jake trying to find room to land more strikes but Alex pushes him over with an upkick to the body and Alex pounces and is now on top in full guard. Alex with his own shots now, Jake trying to find a way out, and Alex passes to half, then mount, Jake tries to escape and Alex has the back, letting loose with strikes here, Alex really pouring it on and Jake can’t find a way out, now Alex grabs the choke and he has it! What a crazy fight!

Shorty Weikel vs JT Taylor (Grappling Match)

 

This bout goes to the finish and is declared a draw without any submissions

 

Jason Pittman vs Jared Matthews (205lbs)

 

Round 1

 

We begin this title bout and Matthews pushes forward with punches early and presses Pittman to the fence, working for the takedown, and Pittman defends, attacking a kimura as Matthews gets the takedown at last, but Pittman is working hard still for the kimura and Matthews looks like he’s in a bad spot, Pittman reverses and almost mounts before Matthews escapes and turtles. Pittman riding him with strikes, and tries to sink in his hooks but Matthews defends. Pittman content to ride and strike from here, Matthews stuck in a turtle. Pittman staying heavy here, picking his shots, Jared trying to find a way out. Pittman continues to ride the back and as Matthews tries to stand he grabs the rear naked choke standing, without hooks and squeezes hard, Matthews is forced to tap.

Levi Weikel vs Phil Gebauer (150lbs)

 

Round 1

 

Touch of gloves and we are off in this pro main event, a punch from Phil early and leg kick from Levi, before Levi shoots in and has Phil on his back, Levi in full guard, trying to find posture. Phil working a high guard, stifling Levi so far. Levi pulls Phil from the cage and throws a short blow, still trying to find room to throw. Levi holding position, and again Phil attacks with a high guard, he has the triangle wrapped up, Levi fighting to find a way out, but he’s in trouble, Phil sweeps the leg, and Levi is still finding room so far. Phil has him offbalance and is trying hard to get the finish here but amazingly Levi escapes and stands up. Levi lands a quick leg kick and pushes Phil to the fence again. Short elbow inside lands for Levi on the break, and he misses a big spinning backfist as he again pushes Phil to the cage. Phil reverses the position and now pushes Levi against the wall. Knee inside by Phil and he sweeps the leg and is now on top of Levi, in full guard. Phil with some room to strike and he throws, Levi tries to find a way to his feet and in the scramble Phil takes the back, has a deep rear naked choke and Levi is fighting hard to find a way free, Phil again squeezing hard for the finish, Levi looks like he’s in trouble but AGAIN survives. Levi reverse the spot and is on top again in full guard. Levi with some nasty elbows on top, and some more. Levi lands some hard shots on the ground as the round comes to an end. Crazy opening round

 

Hard round to score, super close. DC has it 10-9 Levi but could go either way

 

Round 2

 

Levi with a grazing headkick early and Phil comes in wild with a counter. Levi pushes him to the fence and again throws an elbow on the break. Levi pushes behind punches and forces Phil against the cage again. Short shots inside from both fighters in the clinch, knee to the abdominal from Levi before he steps out of the clinch. Levi lands some solid straight shots and again Phil grabs the clinch and Levi pushes him to the fence. Phil trying to use the neck to fend off Levi and he uses a big slam throw and Weikel is on top again, dropping shots. Phil is quick to get Levi back to full guard, Levi tries to attack an arm from full guard, and abandons it quickly. Levi looking for more elbows on the mat, and is landing hard in full guard. Levi continues to pressure and slip elbows and punches. More elbows from Levi and Phil needs to find a way out. Levi steps off and lets Phil stand. Body kick from Levi and he pressures forward again, Against the cage Phil jumps a guillotine hard and Levi again slips out. Phil again has the triangle, and Levi is trying to find a way out but Phil has him mounted and still in the choke. Levi in lots of trouble here, Phil pressing down hard, trying to attack an arm and some elbows on top. Levi is just covering up, more shots from Phil as the last ten seconds come to an end and some how Levi survives again.

 

Great rally from Phil, almost a near submission, DC gives him the 10-9 nod

 

Round 3

 

Final round of this main event, close fight so far. Levi with a jab early, pressing forward and wings a right hand that misses and a good combination inside. Levi has Phil hurt against the cage and Phil now pushes forward, tries to find a knee in the clinch and Levi avoids, tries for a switch kick, lands to the body. Head kick from Levi is checked and he comes forward with big punches and knees, Phil is in trouble, hanging on against the cage and at last circles free. Levi ducks under a punch and again Phil dives on a guillotine but Levi escapes, on top and he lets Phil stand back up. Levi with a right hand, and headkick that is checked. Levi lands a hard shot and Phil goes down, Levi pours it on and Phil can’t recover.
