BRAWL INC Middleweight Championship
‘the Afro Samurai,’ Marco Hutch vs Champion Max Humphrey
This is what Champion Max Humphrey had to say about how he got into MMA, his opponent Marco Hutch & his future as a fighter…
“I wrestled in school an joined the military pretty young. I was dabbling in MMA before, but what really sparked my interest was when my Drill Seargent started teaching me MMA techniques. When I got back home I looked into joining an MMA gym.” When asked about his opponent, Humphrey says, “I think Marco is a great guy. He was there at my very first fight. He’s a real good guy very respectful. I’m looking forward to our fight.” In regard to his future plans as a fighter, “I would like to go pro one day but don’t want to rush into anything to fast, making sure it’s the right choice at the right time kinda thing.”
Max Humphrey trains with Joplin Brotherhood MMA in Joplin, MO. This will be Humphrey’s first BRAWL INC Title defense & he will definitely have his hands full with ‘the Afro Samurai.’
I caught up with Marco Hutch while he was trinaing with his team at Branson Fight Club in Branson, MO and this is what he had to say about getting into MMA and what this fight means to him…
“When I moved to Branson I was about 14 years old coming from Detroit, MI. I began to wrestle in 8th grade up until the summer of 9th grade. During school a friend invited me to his gym. I trained with ‘Kip Teisort’ for several months, picking up some kickboxing, ju jitsu and traditional karate until the facility shut down and about a year later I was introduced to BFC, (Branson Fight Club,) in 2009 and they have sharpened me up greatly. I started off as just a kid cleaning mats too pay for my gym dues. Now I feel they have turned me into a Mixed Martial Artist.” About his opponent Humphrey, “I think Max is gonna bring it like always. He is a Multiple Promotional Champ, so he is used to fighting tough guys. I’m gonna be at my best, so it is going to be a hell of a fight. This fight is very important to me because I’ve only had one shot at a title before and lost. This time I am planning on bringing the BRAWL INC title home with me.”

BRAWL INC Women’s Flyweight Championship
Sharita ‘Striker’ Davis vs Katy ‘Red Dragon’ Collins
Collins defeated Davis with a quick submission over a year ago at ShoFIGHT 26. After much internet chatter, these two were supposed to have a rematch a few months later, but the fight never happened. Davis has been training full time and has improved her game. She is now ready to step back in the cage for the rematch. Collins currently rides a five fight win streak and her talent & skills are on a new level. Davis had better be on her best if she has any chance of taking home the BRAWL INC Title.
BRAWL INC Bantamweight Championship:
Kory ‘Young Gunz’ Jamal vs Clayton Brown
Both of these fighters have tons of amateur experience & this fight is about as evenly matched as you can get. With over 50 fights experience betwen the two of them, look for either of these fighters to go pro in the near future. I believe this will be a fight that will excite the fans.
This undercard is full of talented & explosive fighters looking to make a name for themselves at BRAWL INC and work themselves up the rankings;
