December 3rd, 2014 – Leaders in Mixed Martial Arts sports entertainment, BAMMA, announce the final fight card for BAMMA 17.

Marc Diakiese has a new opponent in Vernon O’Neil, who has stepped in at the last minute to take the bout. O’Neil is a boxer with a Jiu Jitsu background and will be making his MMA debut at BAMMA 17.

Further up the card, Walter Gahadza has been taken ill after arriving back from his training camp in Miami. Doctors could not clear Walter to undertake a safe weight cut and be healthy for the fight night on Saturday. Unfortunately, a suitable opponent has not been found ahead of the event so the fight has been cancelled. Gahadza had the following message for his fans:

“I am absolutely gutted to be unable to fight on BAMMA 17, but I use this experience as fuel and am hungrier than ever to fight back and make sure that I will return in explosive form, and give all the BAMMA fans a performance they will never forget”

Jack McGann Vs. Kayvan Fallah has now been moved to the opening bout of the Main Card.
